Northeast Hot Air RV’ers Photo Contest Rules

Photo entries should be emailed as attachments to  Photo.Contest@NEHARVers.org no later than Halloween (October 31, 2024).  

Please also tag us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

NEHARV'ers Club member photographers may enter up to five (5) of their own photos. Please put all attachments in one email if possible. (Please do not send links to photo sites.)  Once a member has submitted 5 photos, all additional entries will be disregarded.  

The judges will choose two (2) winners from the pictures entered.  One (1) winner will be chosen for each category.  Members are only eligible to win one (1) prize.  Judges decisions are final.  Judging typically happens at the first committee meeting in May of the following year and winners are announced on Facebook and through email. Winners will not be eligible to enter the contest the following year.

General:

Pictures must be from the 2024 Adirondack Balloon Festival and must be taken either in the club camping area or from the club camping area. 

RV/Camper:

In addition to meeting the General guidelines, the photo must have an RV in the photo.

Prizes: 

The two (2) winners will be awarded a membership fee waiver for the 2024 Festival!  (Members are only eligible to win one (1) prize.)  Winners are not eligible to enter the contest the following year.

Small Print:

By submitting your photo to the contest, you give us the right to post your picture on our Facebook page, web page, and our other social media sites.  Please do not enter pictures of people unless they are willing to have their photo posted on social media for all to see.

Please note that the Adirondack Balloon Festival also has a photo contest each year.  We encourage you to submit your photos to their contest.  Their rules can be found on their web site www.adirondackballoonfest.org and Facebook Page @adirondackballoonfest
